The journey to the US began in Täby, where both Uhip as a company was founded, and Ann-Christine grew up. Ann-Christine then moved to Seattle in Washington State, where she now lives and works as an ambassador for the brand, spreading the word and knowledge about Uhip among riders and horse enthusiasts in the US. Now, Ann-Christine shares in her own words about the Uhip's initiative she has been involved in and worked for in the US.

The Ambassador Ann-Christine's words about Uhip in the US

You're mistaken if you think Uhip is only gaining attention in Europe. Uhip took a bold step across the Atlantic and landed in the USA, specifically at Devonwood Equestrian Centre in Sherwood, Oregon. For several days in October, qualified riders from Region 6 (Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska) gathered for the annual championships and Cascade Dressage Festival, the culminating event of the dressage season in this part of the USA.

As a new American ambassador for Uhip, I naturally wanted to be there to introduce Uhip's fantastic range of functional clothing for equestrians, perfect for our climate here in the upper west corner of the USA.

Uhip was also one of the main sponsors for the High Point winners of the Cascade Dressage Festival. The winners of a 365 Hybrid jacket were delighted. All 200 participants also received a Uhip hat in their "Goodie bag," which was incredibly popular.

It was a fantastic four days with sunshine, 28-degree warmth, and beautiful autumn colors framing the fall atmosphere. The warmth made selling winter jackets and coats a bit more challenging, but we all know that the weather changes quickly here too.

I can honestly say, without exaggeration, that everyone who visited me at my booth was so impressed by Uhip's unique details, colors, fit, and comfort. Somehow, I am convinced that Uhip will become more and more noticed and sought after in this part of the world in the near future.

I appreciate your willingness to take a chance on a new market! We need you here!
